What does a Seller need to join Shopflick?
- Sellers need a valid credit card and a Paypal account (so they can accept transactions on our site).
Can I reach out to Sellers anywhere?
- Whether it's a designer in Tokyo, a boutique in London or a Jewelry designer in Brazil, by all means, reach out to anyone & everyone you think is indie and appropriate.
Who is responsible for shipping and inventory?
- The Seller is responsible for keeping their inventory current and shipping product upon a sale (just like the eBay or etsy model).
Who uploads the video?
- Sellers upload their own videos. An easy step-by-step on video uploads is available here.
What help is available for posting items and uploading videos?
- Yes, easy-to-follow Create-a-Store and Create-a-Listing manuals are available in our Help section.
What happens if a Seller wants to add more products to their store?
- Merchandise can be added to a store at any time using either videos or photo images. If a seller needs help shooting the video, they can fill out a Video Shoot Request Form and we will match them with a filmmaker.
Once the Seller shoots the video or fills out a request form for a shoot, what do I do?
- We recommend you attend the video shoot, but this is not required. Once the video shoot is confirmed, help the Seller market their products/store so that you can collect as much Commission as possible. Just make sure the Seller signs up for the Shopflick account and have set up their store so you can get your Commissions!
What does it cost to have a store on Shopflick?
- Shopflick charges an 18% commission on items SOLD. There are no fees assessed for store registration or listings and we are currently waiving store fees.
Who keeps track of what I'm owed?
- Shopflick will email you a monthly summary report of what your referred stores are selling and what your Commission is.
Do I get compensated for additional items a Seller puts up?
- You stand to receive Commission on an unlimited number of items sold by a referred store during the Earnings Period regardless of the number of listings they have. You do not get compensated for items sold after the 4 month Earnings Period.
How do I know if a Seller I find fits the "Shopflick" vibe?
- You can always check out our current videos and examples of Shopflick Sellers.
What if a potential Seller signs up with items you don't want to have on the site? How will you handle that?
- We are looking for an independent style / Seller / feel - leaving room for lots of different people and products. We will add a category as we have new merchandise available on the site. Spam and clearly odd ball Sellers will be flagged and pulled from the site to maintain a cohesive vibe.
