Malbec

Malbec (Pablo Sebastian-vocals, piano, guitar/Samantha Barbera-bass guitar, backing vocals/Nick Ruth- guitar, backing vocals/Sidney Miller-keyboards, programming/Mark Pontius drums) formed in 2003 in Los Angeles creating what could be considered one of the first few bands to integrate sequenced hip-hop beats with modern pop stylings.

Malbec uses a diverse palette of influences to inspire their writing. Traces of styles range anywhere from southern rap/hip-hop and brit pop, to classical compositions and folk music. This marriage of styles has proved to be a success with audiences locally and abroad finding fans in all genres of music.
