When I was eleven years old, I designed a faux stained glass window for my parent's house. It was a combination of flowers and a blue bird. My love for these two images has not wavered in my adulthood. The cherry blossoms stem from a commissioned painting I did. I fell in love with painting them and decided to use them in this special piece. The blossoms seem to fall from the bird's feet acting like little footprints he has left behind.
Each painting is created on a piece of wood and because of the inherent differences in the material, each creation will alter slightly in size and shape, thus adding to the uniqueness of each piece.
