Designers often work anonymously behind a larger brand name, so while you may not have heard of many of the young designers featured at BIO, you may already own some of their designs without even knowing it. BIO’s owner An Vu is interested in introducing the individual behind the clothing she sells, and educating the customer about the designer’s aesthetic. The biography hangtags are there to promote the person behind the brand name, and forge a personal connection between consumer and creator.
