A little respect for Shopflick, please

Our community is all about leveraging the creativity, passion, independence and entrepreneurism of our sellers, stores, buyers and community members. The Shopflick community's success depends on trust--and we put a lot of that trust in you.  So go surf the site, find the coolest products and connect with sellers and buyers through video shopping. And please, be a nice user--not an abuser.

Anything flagged "inappropriate" will be reviewed

This is something we have to do. After a store, listing or video is flagged as inappropriate, we'll review it to see if it violates our Terms of Use agreement. Flagged videos, stores or listings are not automatically taken down by the system. If, after reviewing your video/store/listing, we remove it,  that means we did so deliberately and you should take our warning notification seriously. Go back and check out our Terms of Use again and think about it from our perspective. If you see other things on Shopflick with similar violations, please flag them and we'll review them, too.

Use your common sense

Here are some handy do's and don'ts to help you stay within acceptable usage:  Forget about pornography or sexually explicit content. We just won't tolerate it. If any of the media you upload, fits this descriptioneven if it's of yourself, don't upload it on Shopflick. Shopflick  works closely with local and federal law enforcement to keep an eye on any illicit activities.

• If your video shows someone getting hurt, attacked, or humiliated, don't upload it. We do not allow graphic or gratuitous violence on Shopflick.
• Shopflick is a shopping site, not a gross out your friends site. Please do not  post sick videos of accidents, dead bodies and similar things.
• Don't upload videos of  animal abuse, drug abuse, or bomb making, or anything bad like that Don't list products made explicitly for these activities.
• Copyright is king. Only upload videos that you made or that you have the rights to use. In other words: no videos you didn't make, no content in your videos that someone else owns the copyright to (like  music tracks, clips of copyrighted programs, or videos made by other users), without their permission.
• We enjoy free speech as much as the next guy and we stand by  your right to express an unpopular point of view. However, we don't tolerate hate speech (this is speech which attacks or demeans a group based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity).
• Spam sucks. Promoting your store is okay, but it's pretty obvious when people post lots of untargeted, unwanted or repetitive content, including comments and private messages, just to get more traffic..Don't create misleading descriptions, tags, titles or thumbnails just to get more views.
• We have zero tolerance for predatory behavior. Anyone caught doing these things may be permanently banned from Shopflick.: stalking, threats, harassment, invading privacy, or revealing other members' personal information. Just don't do it.

We are serious about our rules and we hope you will be, too. The spirit of Shopflick is about cooperation and community (remember the "trust" part?), and we want this to be a place where everyone can shop happily. If you violate the Terms of Use, you may get  a warning notification or it may result in termination of your account and deletion of your store/videos/listings. It's up to our review to decide if your violation of our Terms of Use should result in termination of your account. And once you're out, you're out. If we terminate your account for the above reasons, you are prohibited from ever creating another account.

Shopflick for all

You, and every member of our community, make Shopflick what it is. It's your community, so get involved. Enjoy. There's so much to see, buy and share. And new items and stores go up every day. Come in, look around, hang out. Enjoy.

• Share the love. When you find something amazing, tell everyone. Rate a video, leave feedback or save it as your favorite. It's such a fun way to share your taste with the world and find others who dig your style.The good, the bad and the ugly. We all have different taste. Some stuff you will love and some…not so much. But if you find something that truly offends you, and you think  it violates our Terms of Use, then click "Flag as Inappropriate" to submit it for review by Shopflick staff.
