See something you want? Buying is as easy as clicking on the video! And Shopflick is a new social experience where you can connect with your favorite sellers and products at their online stores, share their videos with your friends and embed them in your social networks and blogs.
Why do I need to register?
- It's easy and it opens the door to all the fun on Shopflick. Once you register, you can start shopping, saving your favorites, sharing with friends and giving your feedback. It's the one thing you need to do to access the Shopflick community's great features.
How do I register?
- It's super easy. All you have to do is complete our quick and easy registration form. Once you submit the form, we'll send a Confirmation Email that contains a link to activate your account.
What is a Confirmation Email?
- It's an email sent to folk wanting to join the Shopflick community who have successfully completed the Registration page. The email asks you to click on the provided link so we can activate your account. Once you do that, a new browser window will open with a message confirming that you're now a member of the Shopflick community.
How do I log in?
- Simply enter your Username and Password to log in to Shopflick.
What does "remember me" do?
- Clicking on "remember me" lets your computer remember your sign-in info for 7 days so you don't have to re-enter your Username and Password. Your Password will be saved until you log out, even if you disconnect from the Internet, close your browser, or turn off your computer. For security purposes, your password is automatically encrypted when you log in.
What do I do if I forgot my password?
- Return to the Log In page and enter the email address associated with your account. We'll then send you an email containing a link that will allow you to change your password.
What do I do if I want to change my password?
- If you're already logged in, then click on "My Shopflick" from the navigation found at the top of every page and then enter the Account Info page. The Account Info page allows you to change your password.
What is the Account Dashboard?
- The Account Dashboard is an awesome tool that provides you with immediate high-level visibility into what you've been doing on Shopflick.
What is the My Personal Profile page?
- It helps you manage and update your Shopflick profile. Upload an avatar or a profile video. Share your unique story or vision in the "about me" section.
What is the Purchases page?
- This is where we help you keep track of everything you've ordered on Shopflick. Check your order status, contact the seller, leave feedback and see a receipt record of everything you've bought.
What is the Feedback page?
- This page contains two tabs: Feedback Received and Awaiting Feedback. Feedback Received displays all of the feedback that other users left for you. Awaiting Feedback contains a list of all orders that you have not yet left feedback for. The feedback you leave will be posted on the Feedback page of the person you transacted with. It helps others in the community judge that user's performance. Please only leave feedback that is honest and descriptive. If you have a dispute, please try to resolve it before posting your comments.
What is the Favorites page?
- It's the spot to manage and store all of your favorite Shopflick listings and stores.
What is the Messages page?
- It helps you communicate with other Shopflick members by sending, receiving and replying to messages.
What is the Account Information section?
- This section provides you with a central location for managing your account details and billing information, reviewing your billing statements and ultimately making payments.
How do I create a Store?
- Your Store is automatically created for you once you successfully sign up to be a Shopflick Seller. You can modify the details of your store: change the name, add a description, upload your Store video, create aisles, etc. by going to My Store within the My Account section of the site.
How do I send a Store to a friend?
- Clicking on "send to a friend" allows you to email your favorite Shopflick stores to your friends.

What are "Favorites"?
- When you find products and sellers you really like, simply click on a button to add them to your favorites list. Other viewers on Shopflick will be able to see your list, and ultimately your taste.
What does "embed" mean?
- The embed tool helps you share Shopflick videos on social networking sites (MySpace, Facebook, Bebo, etc.) and blogs.
How do I create a Listing?
- The Create Listing process has (4) steps:
- Step 1: Listing Info
Title - The title of your Listing. Should be descriptive and fewer than 75 characters.
Tagline - A special descriptive line of words that displays on your Store Player video widget when users post it on websites like Facebook and MySpace.
Description - Provide buyers with additional insight into your product.
Can your Listing be rated by users? - "Yes" allows members to rate your Listing. "No" prevents them from rating your Listing.
Can your Listing be commented by users? - "Yes" lets members comment on your Listing. "No" prevents them from commenting on your Listing.
Main Category - Select the category that best fits your product. This is important for Shopflick search, merchandising, and web-wide SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
Tags - Tags are labels that Sellers use to make it easier to find their products.
Price Per Unit - The cost of the product.
Quantity Available - If the product you're selling has no size options, then enter the available inventory.
Options - If the product you're selling has size options, then enter the option name (i.e. Medium, Size 8, 13", etc.) along with the corresponding quantity. Select "Add Another Option" for each available variation.
Shipping Profile - This gives Sellers a chance to tell buyers about any specific shipping requirements (location and price).
- Step 2: Video Upload
Browse for the appropriate video file and then press upload.
- Step 3: Image Upload
Browse for up to 5 images and then press upload.
- Step 4: Review and Publish
Double check all the information you've entered and make sure it's good to go. Don't worry, you can always edit a listing later if you like.
How do I send a Listing to a friend?
- Clicking on "send to a friend" lets you email your favorite Shopflick listings to your friends.
What does "Bookmark" mean and do?
- The "add this" widget allows you to submit Shopflick listings across a wide array of social bookmarking sites. [LINK "social bookmarking sites" to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_bookmarking]
What are "Favorites?"
- Favorites are Listings or Stores that you really dig. You can add a Listing or a Store to your Favorites by clicking the "add to favorites" icon on Shopflick Listing and Store pages.
How do I rate a Listing?
- Each listing has a series of stars. Click on the number of stars you think it deserves to rate it.
How do I leave a comment?
- The bottom of the listing page not only displays the comments that have already been left, but also provides you with a form to leave your own comment. Members must be logged in to leave a comment.
What does "embed" mean?
- The embed tool helps you share Shopflick videos on social networking sites (MySpace, Facebook, Bebo, etc.) and blogs.
How do I leave feedback?
- After you've completed a transaction with a person, you're eligible to leave feedback on them. Go to My Account and click on Feedback in the left-hand navigation. The tab "Awaiting Feedback" contains all of the orders that are - you got it - awaiting your feedback. You can leave positive, negative or neutral feedback along with a comment. Please remember that your feedback is permanent, it can't be changed. It's critical that you leave honest and sincere feedback. If you're in the midst of a dispute with a buyer/seller, then try resolving the issue prior to leaving your feedback.
Can I change my feedback?
- Unfortunately, once you've left feedback for a user you can't change that feedback. Please contact Support@Shopflick.com if you have additional questions.
What if someone left me feedback that I don't agree with?
Where can I review my feedback?
- After you've completed a transaction with someone, you're eligible to receive feedback from them. Go to My Account and click on Feedback in the left-hand navigation. You'll want to then click on the "Feedback Received" tab to display the feedback others have left for you.
Can other members of Shopflick see my feedback?
- Yes. The transparent display of feedback helps educate other members of the Shopflick community about your history with buyers and sellers on the site. Shopflick members will be able to see the total number of feedback messages you've received, the percentage of positive feedback as well as the individual feedback messages you've received.
What is a Profile?
- Profiles let Shopflick members tell the community who they are and what they're all about. You can do this via text or video, so have fun with it.
What is an avatar?
- An avatar is small graphical depiction of you that we use around the site to identify you. You can change your avatar at any time in My Account, Profile.
How do I search for a Listing or a Store?
- Enter your search term or terms into the text field found at the top of every Shopflick page. Our search results are broken into Listings and Stores.
How do I report inappropriate content?
- Store and Listing pages across the site feature a link that says, "Flag as Inappropriate." Clicking the link displays potential reasons why the content is inappropriate. Once selected, Shopflick Customer Service is notified and begins their investigation.
